Wesley Palms Residents Lace Up for Annual Alzheimer’s Walk

San Diego-based Wesley Palms, a Front Porch senior living community, will bring together approximately 35-40 residents, team members, friends and families to support Alzheimer’s San Diego during its annual Alzheimer’s Walk on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The Wesley Palms community will raise awareness and funds for local individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, a cause that is especially meaningful to many within the community.

Last year, Wesley Palms raised more than $10,700 for Alzheimer’s San Diego and this year, the community has already raised more than $10,000.

Residents of Wesley Palms’ Summer House memory care neighborhood will also participate in the walk aboard golf carts, allowing them to take part alongside fellow residents, team members and families while accommodating their individual needs.
