Join us at Digital Gym CINEMA for a screening of "Black Zombie," director Maya Annik Bedward’s thought-provoking documentary about the origins of one of horror’s most iconic figures. The film traces the zombie’s history from Haitian spiritual traditions to its exploitation and transformation by Hollywood. Through conversations with filmmakers, scholars, and Vodou practitioners, "Black Zombie" examines the cultural erasure, colonialism, and racism behind the modern horror icon while reclaiming the zombie’s deeper history.
