Presented by UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies in partnership with the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) and the Burnham Center for Community Advancement (BCCA), ‘Civic Trust in Action: Cities, Research, and the Next Generation’ features Mayor Todd Gloria of San Diego and Mayor David Holt of Oklahoma City in conversation about civility, trust, and engagement during times of division and contentious discourse.

Moderated by NCRC President Steve Dinkin and presented in tandem with research insights from UC San Diego political scientist Thad Kousser, the evening invites members of the community to participate in a one-of-a-kind forum with two nationally recognized civic leaders offering unparalleled insight into how community leaders can build civic trust and improve engagement heading into the pivotal Nov. 3 midterm elections. The forum begins at 6 p.m. at the Guggenheim Theatre at UC San Diego Park & Market. The event is free to attend, however, registration is required.
