Greenskeeper’s Revenge Takes Over The Links at Lakehouse

Tractors on the course. Hay bales in the way. A toilet seat for a golf hole. This is not your typical day on the green.

On Thursday, October 22, The Links at Lakehouse is shaking up the traditional golf tournament with its Greenskeeper’s Revenge Shotgun Tournament, a 4-man scramble where golfers will have to navigate challenging greens, tucked pins and some very unexpected obstacles along the way.

The course has been punched, patched and put back together, and now the Greenskeeper is ready for revenge. Throughout the course, golfers will encounter a mix of obstacles made from landscaping and golf tools, tractors and mowers, flags, hay bales, a toilet seat hole and more, all strategically placed to test even the most confident golfers.

The fun kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with check-in and warm-ups, followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Teams of four will take on the course in a scramble format while also competing in Closest to the Pin and Long Drive challenges, with prizes up for grabs throughout the tournament.

And because everyone could use a little help surviving the Greenskeeper’s revenge, each entry includes two mulligans, one Magic Putt, two Closest to the Pin attempts and two Long Drive attempts, along with unlimited range balls to warm up before hitting the course.

Entry also includes a golf cart, tacos or a burger, one beer, a sleeve of golf balls and a Links at Lakehouse branded towel.
