Join SDSU students, faculty and staff for Truth Before Turnout Social Jeopardy on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Broken Yolk Cafe. Hosted by the SDSU Library and the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations, the game blends entertainment with media literacy to make fact-checking feel approachable.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and teams form at 6 p.m. Questions cover pop culture, media literacy and a Fake or Real round. Teams compete for Truth Before Turnout T-shirts, with more prizes throughout the night.
Each round challenges players to put accuracy over popularity by spotting reliable information, evaluating sources and verifying claims before sharing or acting on them. Get ready to look beyond the post and sign up at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/social-jeopardy-night-tickets-2003263079798
