"No Country for Mothers" explores the culture wars surrounding American motherhood and why both the “girl boss” and “trad wife” labels ultimately distract us from the real issue: the lack of support for American families. Following activist Reshma Saujani, the film charts a growing national movement to reunite moms across divisions and win the kind of historic support families actually need.
The film is 78 minutes long and an informal conversation will be facilitated afterwards.
Bring something comfortable to sit (or lie) on as there will be limited chairs. Feel free to bring snacks & drinks (non-alcoholic, please). Kids welcome.
The event is free - please RSVP.
This isn't just about watching a film; it's about being in a room where we can say things out loud that we've been carrying quietly, and realize we are not alone. We would love for you to join.
