Celebrating its third consecutive year at SDMA, Classics 4 Kids commemorates the 250th Anniversary of the United States and The San Diego Museum of Art’s Centennial with a family concert.
The Classics Philharmonic Orchestra and Conductor Dana Zimbric present an all-American program for all ages, with projected images of American masterpieces from SDMA’s collection. Music by Aaron Copland, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Ferde Grofé, Gwyneth Walker, and John Williams joins an Armed Forces Salute in honor of Veterans Day, along with patriotic favorites “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Join us for a heartfelt salute to country, creativity, and community.
Concert attendees can enjoy free admission to The San Diego Museum of Art the day of the performance. Show your ticket to the SDMA Admissions team for Museum entry.
San Diego Museum of Art
As San Diego County's first and largest art institution, the San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA) provides access to original art works of the highest caliber and is thus the community's primary resource for enjoying and learning about art. Whether in conjunction with the Museum's collections or a major travelling exhibition, special guided tours, classes, lectures, concerts and other related programs allow museum visitors to gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the art on display.
