Growing Together

Growing Together is an initiative that brings family and youth programs from the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, the Murals of La Jolla presented by the Museum of History and Culture La Jolla to build on the strengths of these existing family and youth events while enhancing visibility and accessibility.

Each FREE event features hands-on art-making, music, performances, and opportunities to engage with artists, historians, community partners, and educators, creating a festival-like experience for families of all ages.

Join us on Sunday November 8, for an art-filled, musical, magical and memorable day filled with creativity, connection, and play.

This event will feature:

- Art making guided by local muralist, artist and educator Chikle

- Guided Murals tour at 12:15 and 1:15 p.m. (self-guided tours also available)

- Music by DJ Qúi Qúi

- Henry the Magician from Ding Dong Magic

- Cookies, art, bubbles and more!

We hope to see you there!

This program is made possible through the generous support of the M&I Pfister Foundation.
