The Alwani Middle Eastern Orchestra will be playing a selection of Middle Eastern music from Lebanon, Tunisia, Turkiye, and more.
In a world where Western media often portrays the Middle East as broken and troubled, our orchestra has made it a mission to counter these narratives by showcasing the true beauty, warmth, unity, and cultural richness of the region through the transformative power of music.

Cuyamaca College: Communication Arts Theatre
Cuyamaca College is located in the community of Rancho San Diego at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in the City of El Cajon on a 165-acre site which was at one time a part of the Old Monte Vista Ranch. Cuyamaca College is one of two colleges serving the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District. The Communication Arts Building is a three-story, 84,000-square-foot facility. Its central vertical circulation structure serves as the campus’ primary means of pedestrian movement between its upper and lower levels and as an “entry building” to the rest of campus. The 90-seat digital theater has a wide-screen cinema projection for instructors’ multimedia presentation, a music/media library, rehearsal space, music practice rooms, and art studios. In addition, the Communication Arts facility adds multi-disciplinary laboratory and independent learning spaces for the various programs.
