The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library invite the community to a Craft & Book Sale and Silent Auction on Saturday, December 5, in the Oceanside Civic Center Library Community Room and Courtyard at 330 North Coast Highway. The event features handmade crafts and a large book sale, with most used books on sale for only a dollar. In addition, local businesses have graciously donated items for a silent auction. The donations include dining gift cards, vacation stays, and tickets to events, to name a few. The event will also feature works by local artists.
Proceeds for fundraising events such as this make library programs for all ages possible. Friends of the Library support buying books, story times, teen activities, technology, community centered and cultural celebrations, to name a few.
