Growing Together

La Jolla is famous for its beaches, but it’s also home to some of San Diego’s most vibrant cultural institutions.

Growing Together is an initiative that brings family and youth programs from the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, the Murals of La Jolla presented by the Museum of History and Culture La Jolla to build on the strengths of these existing family and youth events while enhancing visibility and accessibility.

Each FREE event features hands-on art-making, music, performances, and opportunities to engage with artists, historians, community partners, and educators, creating a festival-like experience for families of all ages.

This event in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego will feature:

- Animal Cracker Conspiracy

- Henry D Magician from Ding Dong Magic

- Art making, cookies, bubbles, music, and more!

We invite you to join us in celebrating creativity and community—bring your family, explore these unique experiences, and connect with the vibrant cultural life of La Jolla and beyond.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the M&I Pfister Foundation.
