Project [BLANK] closes THE SALTY SERIES with Moksha Black, an evolving project by legendary DJ, producer, curator, and UC San Diego professor King Britt. A pioneering figure in electronic music for more than three decades, Britt has collaborated with an array of acclaimed artists while championing the contributions of Black innovators through his groundbreaking Blacktronika initiative. Exploring themes of loss, love, light, and liberation, Moksha Black brings together field recordings, sound design, and electronics in a continually evolving work shaped by Black history, spirituality, and transformation. The project offers a powerful finale to THE SALTY SERIES, bringing experimental electronic music into dialogue with memory and community connection.
