Enjoy sensory-friendly quiet hours at the Museum of Us on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Museum remains open to the public during this time, and all are welcome to visit the Museum.
During this time, specific exhibit features in the main Museum building are turned off to minimize audio and visual stimulation. Noise-blocking headphones are free for check-out at the main Admissions Desk and entrance to the “Cannibals: Myth & Reality” exhibit.
Exhibit features in the Cannibals exhibit will remain on, and all exhibits will be fully turned on at 11:00 a.m. Admission purchased during sensory-friendly quiet hours is the same as standard admission and applies to the entire day.

Museum of Us
The Museum of Us is a place for the diverse stories that define all of us - all of us! The Museum of Us is a cultural anthropology museum located in San Diego’s Balboa Park on the unceded territory and ancestral homeland of the Kumeyaay Nation, the Indigenous Peoples of the region. Immersive experiences explore the human experience through multicultural perspectives to spark dialogue, self-reflection, and human connections. Exhibits such as Living with Animals and PostSecret examine universal themes that connect humans across time and cultures.
Hours Open Wednesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.– 5 p.m.
Admission Adults, $19.95; Seniors (62+), Students and Military (with ID), Youth (6–17), $16.95; Members and Children 5 and under, free. California Tower Tours, general admission plus $10.
