Meet successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up in her secluded home. How can he possibly thank her enough? By giving her a sneak-peek at his latest book, of course. But when Annie discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, the novelist may be forced to write as if his life depends on it.
