A black-as-pitch humdinger of a mother/daughter dark comedy.

Maureen Folan is a lonely woman in her forties who cares for her mother Mag in the isolated mountains of Connemara, County Galway in Ireland. A fateful encounter leads to romance and escape for Maureen until her devious and declining mother Mag detours and derails Maureen’s last chance at love and sends the story careening towards a conclusion impossible to predict.
