Ballet Collective San Diego is proud to present "IDIOMA," an evening of dynamic, witty, and diverse contemporary ballet works by local choreographers Paulette Andalon, Tylor Bradshaw, Holly Meacham, Whitney Edwards, and Emily Miller with Guest Choreographers Holly Curran (Metropolitan Opera NYC) and Angela Rebelo with Maxime Guenen (Ballet Theatre de Grand Geneve / Joffrey)
"IDIOMA" invites audiences into a tender conversation without words - where dancers and choreographers can share, unencumbered and articulately, their essence through the language of dance. Experience with us what is real and honest between two people sharing space, the rapture in hearing music that is close to us, and the power of many bodies breathing together as one.

The Baker-Baum Concert Hall is an intimate performance space with superb acoustics ideally suited for chamber music and classical recitals. In addition, its design incorporates state-of-the-art technology and adjustable acoustics, making it a world class space for amplified concerts, film, dance, theatre, lectures, and more. A wooden grillage frames the elegant curvature to the seating area creating a shape reminiscent of a European opera house. Outside this framework, lighting washes the walls in color to create a sense of space beyond.
