Come celebrate National Model Railroad Month this November at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park! Explore detailed model train layouts, interactive exhibits, and the history and creativity of railroading that inspire visitors of all ages.
We’re open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

San Diego Model Railroad Museum
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is the largest and only accredited scale Model Railroad Museum in the United States. SDMRM has collections of some of the first scale model trains ever to be built in the entire world! Plus, the museum has over 27,000 square feet of exhibiting layouts featuring the world famous Tehachapi Pass Exhibit, Historic San Diego and Arizona Eastern Exhibit, SoCal's Largest N'scale Exhibit, O-Guage Exhibit, and award winning Toy Train Gallery. The museum has extended summer hours.
