"SE7EN" 30th Anniversary — 4k Restoration (1995. 127 min. R) - David Fincher’s searing, nerve-jangling trip to the dark side. A disillusioned, middle-aged detective (Morgan Freeman) and his eager young successor (Brad Pitt) are thrust together to investigate a series of murders inspired by the seven deadly sins.

Two cops (Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman) track a brilliant and elusive killer who orchestrates a string of horrific murders, each kill targeting a practitioner of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Gwyneth Paltrow also stars in this acclaimed thriller set in a dour, drizzly city sick with pain and blight. David Fincher (Fight Club, Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) guides the action – physical, mental and spiritual – with a sure understanding of what terrifies us, right up to a stunning denouement that will rip the scar tissue off the most hardened soul.

Cinema Under the Stars is an intimate outdoor movie theater in Mission Hills with single and double zero-gravity reclining lounge chairs, sky-boxes and love seat cabanas.

Heaters, pillows and blankets are provided.
A vintage cartoon is shown before most films.
Seating is limited and reservations are recommended.
Members may make phone reservations up to one week in advance.
Online reservations for Members begin on Mondays at 9 a.m.
Online reservations for Non-Members begin on Tuesdays at 9 a.m.
The box office opens at 6 p.m, Fridays - Sundays.

Cinema Under the Stars is an intimate outdoor movie theater in Mission Hills, directly behind Tops Salon. The theater features a 20-foot screen with HD projection and THX surround sound. Open air seating includes your choice of single & double zero-gravity recliners, love seat cabanas, or deck chairs with ottomans. For additional comfort, there are pillows, blankets and heaters and a waterproof canvas cover installed for the Winter months, in case of rain. Concessions: Popcorn, candy and assorted hot or cold beverages are $2 each. There are also several restaurants within walking distance in the neighborhood for dinner before the movie. Enjoy classic films, cult favorites and recent releases on the weekends, year round. There will be a brief introduction and a classic cartoon prior to the film.
