Cinema Under The Stars
Cinema Under the Stars is an intimate outdoor movie theater in Mission Hills, directly behind Tops Salon. The theater features a 20-foot screen with HD projection and THX surround sound. Open air seating includes your choice of single & double zero-gravity recliners, love seat cabanas, or deck chairs with ottomans. For additional comfort, there are pillows, blankets and heaters and a waterproof canvas cover installed for the Winter months, in case of rain. Concessions: Popcorn, candy and assorted hot or cold beverages are $2 each. There are also several restaurants within walking distance in the neighborhood for dinner before the movie. Enjoy classic films, cult favorites and recent releases on the weekends, year round. There will be a brief introduction and a classic cartoon prior to the film. Films begin at 8 p.m. Winter/Spring - January through March (Friday, Saturdays, and some Sundays) Spring - April and May (usually Friday, Saturday, Sundays) Summer - Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sundays Fall - After Labor Day, September through October (usually Friday, Saturday, Sundays) (Films for November and December will be announced soon) Admission - (cash or check only) Members - $17.00 General - $18.00 Online Reservations - $20.00 (use credit card to reserve seats) Hours - Box office opens at 6 p.m. on movie nights Reservations - Begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays Parking - there is a paid parking lot next door and free street parking in the neighborhood, after 6:00 p.m.
