Coastal Christmas Cottage

This holiday season, Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa is bringing Christmas to the coast with the debut of its Coastal Christmas Cottage, a festive new stay experience designed for travelers looking to celebrate the season in a distinctly Coronado setting.

Available to book now for stays November 1 through January 10, the cottage pairs beloved holiday traditions with the sunshine and laid-back atmosphere of Coronado Island.

“We wanted to create an experience that gives guests the best of both worlds: the traditions and nostalgia they love about Christmas alongside the relaxed coastal setting that makes Coronado such a special place to spend time together,” said Carlos Rodriguez, general manager of Coronado Island Resort & Spa. “The Coastal Christmas Cottage is designed to feel festive from the moment guests arrive and give families an easy way to make new holiday memories.”

The Coastal Christmas Cottage is decked out for the season with a full-size decorated Christmas tree, festive décor and presents under the tree, creating a picture-perfect holiday setting from the moment guests step inside. A festive cookie decorating kit and hot chocolate add a playful coastal spin on a classic holiday tradition.

With San Diego Bay at its doorstep, Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa offers a breezy coastal escape just minutes from downtown San Diego. Guests can dine at signature restaurant ALBACA, unwind at the resort’s spa or simply take in the waterfront setting and views of the San Diego skyline.

“The holidays are often about the simple moments families share together, whether that’s decorating cookies, relaxing over hot chocolate or unplugging to spend quality time together. We’ve brought those moments to the cottage so guests can arrive, settle in and simply enjoy the season,” said Rodriguez.

Rates for the Coastal Christmas Cottage start from $569. To learn more or reserve, visit here.
