Learn the fundamentals of ceramics and cooking! Campers mix, chop, sauté, bake and enjoy their food creations AND learn how to make functional ceramics on the wheel! Campers will learn knife skills in a small hands on environment while they cook and bake their creations and gain confidence in the kitchen. After a lunch break in the garden, children will be brought to our ceramics room where they will learn fundamental ceramic techniques. Their pieces will be fired and available for pickup the following week.
Class meets Tuesday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at our Encinitas location.
Event is presented by the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito.
