The Central IDEA Lab presents... Cosplay Repair Station!
Are you cosplaying during San Diego Comic-Con? Need a cosplay repair? Don't despair! Swing by the Central IDEA Lab on the 4th floor of the Central Library for quick fix solutions to your cosplay woes.
Available equipment and material (while supplies last) to help mend your costume:
Sewing machines
Sewing supplies (needles, thread, seam rippers, scissors, safety pins, etc.)
Different types of glue (hot glue guns, wood glue, tacky glue, super glue, etc.)
A variety of tape (duct tape, electrical tape, transparent tape, etc.)
And more!
Keep in mind:
No appointment necessary. Drop-in any time during the Cosplay Repair Station open hours.
You will conduct the actual repairs on your costume. Staff is on hand to help locate supplies and materials.
There is limited capacity in the space. You may experience a wait time to use the Cosplay Repair Station.
The Cosplay Repair Station is for minor fixes only and cannot accommodate major cosplay malfunctions.
