Disability Ministry Conference

Across San Diego County and beyond, many families raising a child with a disability have quietly stopped attending church, not because they stopped believing, but because their church did not know how to welcome and support them well.

The Disability Ministry Conference exists to help change that. On September 18 and 19, 2026, ministry leaders, volunteers, educators, advocates, and parents will gather at Foothills Church in El Cajon for two days of practical training, connection, and resources focused on building communities where every family belongs.

Hosted by Miracle 139 International, a San Diego based nonprofit, the conference features biblical teaching, breakout sessions led by experienced practitioners, an exhibitor hall of disability ministry resources, and an international showcase highlighting work happening around the world. Attendees will also take part in a buddy bag packing event, assembling supply bags for partner ministries internationally.

An optional intensive session on Thursday, September 17 offers a deeper dive into some of the topics most affecting disability ministry today.
