PAUMA VALLEY, CA – OCT 14, 2026 – Fresh air, riverside camping and your favorite four-legged companion—Dog-tober is a great excuse to bring the whole pack to La Jolla Indian Campground. Throughout October, dogs are welcome at the RV Park and in Campground Areas 1–4.

Set along the San Luis Rey River in Pauma Valley, the campground makes it easy for people and pups to enjoy a fall getaway together. Dogs can take in the new sights and smells around camp and relax alongside their people at the campsite. Guests can pitch a tent and choose a spot upon arrival or reserve a group site in advance. Whether arriving by tent, camper or RV, campers can spend their days relaxing at camp and their evenings under the stars.

“Dog-tober is about sharing the simple pleasure of a fall camping trip with the whole family, dogs included,” said Abby Burt, Owner & CMO of Applied Adventure, which manages marketing for La Jolla Indian Adventure Park. “We’re looking forward to welcoming campers and their four-legged companions this month.”

And there’s even more adventure to add to your trip: overnight campground guests can receive 25% off zipline tour bookings scheduled during their stay. Select the “Campground Discount” box at checkout, then show your campground booking confirmation when checking in for the tour.
