Casa Guadalajara’s three-day Cinco de Mayo celebrations are livening up Old Town San Diego with live Mariachi music, a Mexican troubadour and enchanting ballet folklorico performances! Indulge in festive food and drink specials, including Don Julio tequila promotions and must-try items like street tacos, esquites (Mexican street corn), aguas frescas and Jarritos available at the outdoor taco stand. Add more color to the party with face painting, available daily from noon - 8 p.m.
On Saturday, May 3 from noon - 3 p.m. Casa Guadalajara will participate in Old Town’s blind tasting salsa competition where participants can sample salsas and cast their vote to crown the Best Salsa of 2025! The table/booth will be located on Harney Street and participation cost is $5 which includes six salsas and a bag of chips.
