Intro to Copperplate Calligraphy

Join us in our 6-Week Copperplate Calligraphy workshop for beginners. Copperplate is the most commonly recognized traditional calligraphy script, making it a must-have for every calligrapher. Even if you are a lover of Modern calligraphy, learning Copperplate will help you to develop your own style!

- This class is encouraged for students of all levels, including someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before.
- Modern calligraphers who want to learn the basics of Traditional Copperplate calligraphy

In this 6-week session, we will cover:
- The basics of pointed pen calligraphy.
- How to create thick and thin strokes with a pointed pen.
- Step-by-step instructions on the Copperplate alphabet, both uppercase and lowercase.

Materials included:
- Beginner calligraphy pen
- Calligraphy nibs
- Sumi ink
- Workbook/practice sheets
