$500 and $35 SDFWA membership
In five 4-hour sessions students will experience a comprehensive introduction to woodworking and woodworking machines. Students will build their own cutting board and a stool to take home.
During this class students will:
Operate a drill press, router table, drum sander, and other stationary sanding machines safely.
Learn to use glue and clamps.
Learn how to square lumber.
Learn how to prepare a project for finishing and apply a finishing product.
Level: Beginner
Prerequisite: Age >18
Format: 5 sessions, each 4 hours
Projects you will make: Cutting board and small stool
