'JAZZ AT MIDNIGHT' Selection of Paintings and Mixed Media Works From the Early 1960s to the Present

R.B. Stevenson Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of "JAZZ AT MIDNIGHT" Selection of paintings and mixed media works from early 1960s to the present by San Diego artist Richard Allen Morris. The one solo exhibition opens with a reception for the artist Saturday March 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Richard Allen Morris stands as one of San Diego's most influential and enduring contemporary artists, with a remarkable career spanning over six decades from the early 1960s to the present day. His forthcoming exhibition, "Paintings and Mixed Media Works from the Early 1960's to the Present," offers a rare, comprehensive look at the evolution of an artist whose work has consistently challenged conventions while maintaining a distinctive visual language unmistakably his own.

Born with an innate curiosity about the possibilities of paint and form, Morris emerged during a pivotal moment in American art history.
