La Jolla Community Center presents a 4-part Classic Film Series (In-Person) starting July 21. The series will be hosted by iconic film critic and historian, Leonard Maltin in association with the Cinema Society of San Diego. Maltin will introduce and discuss four classic films. Film introduction by Leonard Maltin (in-person) on July 21, begins at 7 p.m. Q&A with Leonard follows the film. (For the three additional films, Maltin will participate via zoom).
The four films include:
"Singin’ in the Rain" July 21, 2022, 7 p.m. Film runs 103 minutes.
"Some Like it Hot" July 28, 2022, 7 p.m. Film runs 120 minutes.
"Double Indemnity" Aug. 4, 2022, 7 p.m. Film runs 107 minutes.
"Rear Window" Aug. 11, 2022, 7 p.m. Film runs 112 minutes.
Dates: Thursdays, July 21 - August 11. Start time 7 p.m.
Cost: $100/Series Pass (4 films). $30/Individual Ticket. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Leonard Maltin bio:
Leonard is one of the world’s most respected film critics and historians. He is best known for his widely-used reference work Leonard Maltin’s Movie Guide and its companion volume Leonard Maltin’s Classic Movie Guide, now in its third edition, as well as his thirty-year-run on television’s ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT.
