One of San Diego's most beloved holiday traditions returns with the theme "Liberty Lights the Bay – Cheers to 250 Years." Boats decorated with lights and designs honor 250 years of American history and the spirit of freedom, welcome, and opportunity. The parade draws more than 100,000 people to the waterfront each year.
The route starts at Shelter Island and passes Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, and The Port Park and Pier in Barrio Logan. It then crosses the Bay before the Coronado Bridge to the Marriott Coronado Hotel and ends near the Coronado Ferry Landing.
It is free to watch from spots along the route. Arrive early.
