LITVAKdance is presenting a collaborative holiday production, "LIGHT," that celebrates the holiday season with a work centered on Jewish stories on the first day of Chanukah at the JCC December 18. "LIGHT" features original music and libretto by Yale Strom as well as original choreography by Rebecca Margolick, Elyssa Dru Rosenberg and Sadie Weinberg.
2 p.m. "LIGHT" is part of the LFJCC's Hanukkah Happenings. Bring the whole family to celebrate the first day of Chanukah.
7 p.m. "LIGHT" performs to live music by Yale Strom. In the second half of the night, enjoy music inspired by music from around Jewish world from Yale Strom's Shimmering Lights.
