Filled with imagination, humor, and heartwarming adventure, "The Frog Prince" leaps onto the stage in a delightful family musical brought to life by more than 60 talented local student performers.

Produced in partnership with Missoula Children’s Theatre, this charming adaptation of the classic fairy tale transforms an entire cast of young performers into royalty, magical creatures, and whimsical characters — all after rehearsing together for just one incredible week. Packed with catchy songs, colorful storytelling, and playful twists on the beloved story, the production follows a spirited princess, a talking frog, and a kingdom full of surprises as they discover lessons about friendship, kindness, and staying true to yourself. Designed especially for young audiences and families, the show delivers plenty of laughs, memorable moments, and theatrical magic from beginning to end.

For decades, Missoula Children’s Theatre has become internationally recognized for its unique residency programs that inspire confidence, creativity, and collaboration in young performers through the power of live theater. During this exciting weeklong experience, students work alongside professional touring artists to audition, rehearse, and stage a fully realized musical production in only a matter of days. The fast-paced process encourages teamwork, discipline, and self-expression while giving students a rare opportunity to perform in a professional theater environment. Families and audiences alike will be amazed by the enthusiasm, dedication, and talent these young performers bring to the stage as they work together to create a polished and entertaining theatrical experience in such a short amount of time.
