Medium Photo presents "Echo," an exhibition by the Medium Photo Collective, a group of artists living in San Diego and Tijuana, formed in 2024. Curated by Thomas Werner, the show runs November 6–15 at Studio On Banks and brings together recent work from 20 artists whose practices span documentary, commercial, fine art, and alternative-process photography.
"Echo" takes its title as a starting point and echoes back altered, shaped by time, distance, memory, and perspective.
“The resulting photographs ask us to question, consider our place in life, and how we approach our dreams, responsibilities, and happiness.” Thomas Werner said.
Opening reception: Friday, November 6, 6–9 p.m.
Artist talks: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 1 p.m.
Closing reception and meet the curator: Sunday, November 15, 3–5 p.m.
