There’s no question: many people are feeling more stressed and anxious than ever before. We feel overwhelmed by work, family, life, technology, political and social unrest, and the 24-hour news cycle. Why wouldn’t we be stressed? We’re only human. It’s important to recognize that while we can’t control what happens around us, we can control how we respond to the stress in our lives.
Mindfulness 101 is an 8-week online course where you will learn how to focus attention and cultivate an awareness of the present moment with greater clarity and sense of balance. This course is taught by Chandra Moira Beal, a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher. This course features interactive practices, exercises, and classroom discussions.
