Natural Landscapes and Human Meaning - The Ocean

Every week from September 20, 2022 until November 8, 2022.
Tuesday: 4 PM - 5:20 PM
University of San Diego Humanities Center
Free

In this wide-ranging series of discussions and presentations, scholars from multiple disciplines (such as art history, literature, environmental and ocean sciences, and philosophy) reflect upon the life and the power of the ocean (and of other bodies of water). A composite picture of the extraordinary and boundless nature of the ocean, and of its effect on the human imagination, will emerge from these expansive and open conversations.
