New Village Arts Presents: Final Draft New Play Festival

UPDATE: The New Play Festival has been rescheduled for April 1-3, 2022

New Village Arts, North County's cultural hub, is hosting its annual Final Draft New Play Festival which solicits emerging playwrights to submit a 10-minute, one act full length play that will be performed during the festival in January 2022. Special encouragement is given to underestimated and underrepresented community members in order to represent all artist voices in the community. Performances include 10 never before seen plays written by talented local playwrights, as well as delicious craft beers.

If you'd like to partake in the storytelling, grab a pint and join the artists panel where community artists and leaders share what changes they'd like to see in the San Diego art scene, try monologue writing at the playwrighting workshop, or even take to the stage at the kickoff party open mic night.
