At San Diego International Airport, a new exhibition explores the evolving relationship between art and artificial intelligence. "NEW PAINT" brings together seven artists from the San Diego region who use AI as a creative collaborator—expanding, transforming and enhancing their own ideas rather than replacing the human hand.

The exhibition also connects to San Diego’s pioneering role in AI and art, tracing back to artist Harold Cohen’s groundbreaking AARON project in 1968. Located throughout Terminal 2, "NEW PAINT" offers a glimpse into how artists today are imagining the future of creativity.
