About the work:
With a plot echoing a dark version of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” Handel’s operatic drama explores romance, jealousy, and revenge. Peter Kozma directs this inventive production, accompanied by a period instrument ensemble led by conductor and harpsichordist Benjamin Bayl.
