From the gallery:
This exhibition brings together five artists from California and Tijuana that explore the beauty and complexities of our natural environment highlighting coastal habitats with specific work being created about La Jolla. Diverse works of art, including sculptures, paintings, cyanotypes and installations, will speak to the relationship between humanity and nature through the lens of protecting our natural resources. Featured artists include Courtney Mattison, Annalise Neil, Kline Swonger, Oscar Romo and Britton Neubacher.

The La Jolla Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, collection and preservation of La Jolla's heritage. Through their collections, programs and advocacy, they carry out their mission by: -Discovering, recording and sharing La Jolla's history. -Preserving La Jolla's historical objects, sites and structures. -Increasing community awareness of the value of our heritage. The La Jolla Historical Society collects materials in a wide range of formats and media, including books, newspapers, magazines, maps, printed ephemera, manuscripts, scrapbooks and architectural drawings. The La Jolla Historical Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
