Planning a romantic Valentine’s Day date on a weeknight just got a little bit easier with Gelson’s. The specialty grocery store is offering delicious sides and starters, pre-cooked dinners for two, and of course chocolate covered strawberries! Date planners are invited to impress their dates with appetizers such as a Cooked Shrimp Platter with Cocktail Sauce or a classic Cheese Plate. Main course options include choices such as the Prime Rib & Lobster Dinner for Two ($125) or Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon & Lobster Dinner for Two ($125).

For a sweet treat, guests may order decadent dishes like the Dark Chocolate and Caramel Miso Tart, Chocolate Bombe, or an array of Chocolate Covered Strawberries. For the ultimate Valentine’s Day date, guests may also order wine, champagne, and floral arrangements.

The final day to place orders is February 12. On February 13 and 14, orders may be picked up from Gelson’s locations in Pacific Beach (730 Turquoise St, San Diego, CA 92109), Carlsbad (7660 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009), or Del Mar (2707 Via De La Valle, Del Mar, CA 92014).
