We’re excited to share that Salt & Straw ice cream’s beloved Berries Series has returned, featuring fan-favorite flavors that highlight the season’s ripest fruit alongside two new creations and the limited-time return of the Strawberry Shortcake Waffle Cone.

The artisan ice cream brand is also celebrating National Ice Cream Week with the debut of a customizable Pint Sundae.

Available now through July 23rd, The Berries Series showcases the best of summer berry harvests and West Coast produce.

Returning favorites are joined by two new flavors from Tyler Malek, co-founder, head ice cream maker, and the culinary force behind Salt & Straw: Huckleberry Oat Crisp with Foraged Porcini and Raspberry Marzipan Princess Cake (v).

To round out the seasonal lineup, Salt & Straw is also bringing back its Strawberry Shortcake Waffle Cone for a limited time, a fruity pairing perfect for any scoop. If you have the Salt & Straw app, you can take advantage of the “Order Ahead” feature to skip the line!

Flavors in The Berries Series include:

  • Birthday Cakes and Blackberries - Mouthfuls of rainbow-flecked ‘confetti’ cake are generously strewn throughout salted vanilla ice cream and wrapped with a ribbon of Oregon Growers jam—made from the plump, juicy blackberries the PNW is famous for.
  • Strawberry Pretzel Salad - An iconic Midwestern “salad” turned scoop is back for another summer! Cream cheese ice cream gets swirled with a crunchy pretzel crumble and finished with ribbons of vibrant housemade strawberry jam.
  • Goat Cheese Marionberry Habanero - A longtime fan favorite! Goat cheese from renowned California cheesemaker Cypress Grove meets a fruity swirl of marionberry-habanero jam in every spoonful. Pioneered in Oregon, they’re a standout in the berry landscape and the ideal counterpoint to the slow-build heat and delightfully funky cheese.
  • *New!* Huckleberry Oat Crisp with Foraged Porcini - Porcini mushrooms are cooked down with maple syrup and a splash of port wine before churned into a silky ice cream base. Huckleberry jam adds bright acidity while hand-broken pieces of oaty rosemary lace cookies bring a savory-sweet crunch. 
  • *New!* Raspberry Marzipan Princess Cake (v) - Inspired by Sweden’s beloved green princess cake, pistachio-cashew frozen dessert is brightened with vanilla bean and a touch of salt. Ribbons of tangy seedless raspberry jam streak throughout, alongside toothsome cubes of raspberry marzipan and delicate chunks of vanilla bean cake.

Additionally, Salt & Straw is celebrating National Ice Cream Week (7/13-7/20), by offering guests the opportunity to create their own Pint Sundae, featuring three scoops of their choice served in a personalized pint and customized with themed stickers.
