Thirty-nine San Diego Potters Guild juried members fill the Spanish Village Art Center patio with thousands of handcrafted pots, unique and distinctive, choosing the clay, form, shape, design, surface, decoration, glaze and firing technique.
There'll be colorful bowls, wonderful plates and serving platters with imaginative designs, hundreds of beautiful mugs, carved and decorated vases and bottles, fabulous teapots, unusual planters and complex sculptures. Visitors may meet potters and watch demonstrations on the wheel.

San Diego Potters' Guild
The San Diego Potters' Guild facilities include several electric wheels, an electric kiln, a gas kiln and the gallery. The gallery displays both utilitarian and sculptural works, which are made either on the wheel, or are hand-built. Classes are currently taught at the Guild by two members, Elizabeth Woolrych and Doug Snider. The San Diego Potters' Guild is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Our address is: Studio 29, Spanish Village, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101.
