Sparks Gallery is excited to share its upcoming exhibition "Sugar Rush" that is on view from August 9 - October 4, 2026.
OMA's Artist Alliance will present 29 original artworks in their third exhibition at Sparks Gallery in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter downtown. Selected by juror Sonya Sparks, "Sugar Rush" brings together vibrant, playful, and visually striking work, such as bold, pop-inspired styles that embrace bright color and the fizzy energy of popular culture. This exhibition celebrates art that feels sweet, lively, fun, humorous, and impossible to ignore.
Join us for "Sugar Rush’s" artist reception on Sunday, August 30 from 5-8 p.m. Meet the artists, enjoy the exhibition, and experience a lovely evening of art and community. Please RSVP, though admission is free.
Sparks Gallery
The Sparks Gallery is housed within the historic Sterling Hardware Building in San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter, located between Island & Market on Sixth Avenue. Sparks Gallery is an event space and represents contemporary artwork by artists living in San Diego and Southern Calif. The Gallery was awarded the 2015 People in Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse by Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO).
