Talent ID and Skills Clinic Hosted by The San Diego Legion

Join the San Diego Legion, San Diego’s very own Major League Rugby team, as they host their first Legion Skills Clinic of the season! The Legion program aligns with player growth and simultaneously drives talent and athlete development. The local rising rugby talent will have the opportunity to train with the San Diego Legion coaches and players —all of which share a passion for developing and growing the game locally.

The clinic will be led and coached by USA and Legion rugby players Ryan Matyas, Nate Augspurger, Pete Malcolm, and Nate Sylvia. The Legion clinics provide an opportunity to improve on skillsets and develop a better understanding of the game.

Schedule
9 a.m. – 10 a.m. | Clinic starts with athletes under 8's
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Athletes under 12's take the field
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Athletes under 15's will play
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Day ends with athletes under 18's

The clinic will take place at the San Dieguito Sports Complex on Saturday, December 11 and Sunday, December 19.

Please note:
• Each athlete is responsible for bringing their cleats and water bottle.
• Athletes that will be attending the U12-U18 session will also need to bring: a notebook and pen.
• Everyone who signs up will also receive a San Diego Legion T-shirt.
