Introducing "The Unfair Advantage." Australia’s leading sleight of hand specialist Harry Milas lifts the veil on the world of card cheating in an intimate and unprecedented theatrical event.
During this hour-long experience, Harry will reveal the secrets behind the skill that saw him become a security weapon for the world’s top casinos. Join Harry in an audience of just 35 people as he reveals – step by step – how magicians, card cheaters and mentalists fool the world. Expect part performance, part tutorial as Harry exposes many of the best tricks and illusions he knows. He’ll start you off easy, but as the show goes on, greater displays of card play unfold and exciting secrets are uncovered…
Before participating, you will be asked to sign a legal contract of confidentiality. Please bear this in mind when electing to take part. Audiences will meet their host at the Potiker Box Office at La Jolla Playhouse, and be escorted to a backstage location to sign the contract and commence the experience.
Without Walls (WOW) is La Jolla Playhouse’s signature performance program that takes art outside traditional theatre walls and into unique spaces, including the annual WOW Festival and WOW stand-alone productions.
Approx 60 minutes with no intermission. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance time and give yourself time to stay afterwards as Harry will offer you the opportunity to stay at the table and ask questions after the show.

Box Office Hours When performances are taking place: Monday: noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday - Wednesday: noon to 7:30 p.m. Thursday - Saturday: noon to 8 p.m. Sunday: noon to 7 p.m. When the theatre is not in performance: Monday - Saturday: noon to 6 p.m. The main Box Office is located in the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Center for La Jolla Playhouse. For performances, a box office is open at the theatre in which the performance is taking place and the main Box Office remains open to accommodate advance sales and subscriber exchanges.
