University City High School Performing Arts Department presents "You Can’t Take It With You," a 1930s unique classic written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman. UCHS Theatre teacher and Alumni Nia Hilton will be directing the show.
"You Can’t Take It With You" is a three-act comedy following the eccentric Vanderhof family whose members spend their days pursuing joyful hobbies rather than traditional work. Chaos ensues when granddaughter Alice falls in love with Tony Kirby, a man from a stiff and conventional Wall Street family, and their worlds collide disastrously.
Shows will be performed at the UCHS Auditorium on Wednesday, October 7 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m., and Friday, October 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults, for purchase at the door or pre-purchase at www.uchsperformingarts.org
