“Uncommon Clay” showcases remarkable handmade ceramics in original styles by San Diego Guild potters for use, display and enjoyment. There’ll be pots for the home, planters for the garden, mugs for the workplace, platters, vases, sculptures and as gifts.
On display Nov. 12 – Nov. 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving) at Studio 29 in Spanish Village Art Center, Balboa Park.

San Diego Potters' Guild
The San Diego Potters' Guild facilities include several electric wheels, an electric kiln, a gas kiln and the gallery. The gallery displays both utilitarian and sculptural works, which are made either on the wheel, or are hand-built. Classes are currently taught at the Guild by two members, Elizabeth Woolrych and Doug Snider. The San Diego Potters' Guild is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Our address is: Studio 29, Spanish Village, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101.
