The Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House is the oldest surviving structure in downtown San Diego. It was once used as a military barracks, county hospital, boarding house, private residence and even has some Prohibition and espionage ties. The Museum offers guests tours of the Davis-Horton House museum and the historic district. The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation preserves the history, culture, and architecture of the historic Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego.
