San Diego mayor Jerry Sanders will give citizens a chance to weigh in on what the city should do to get out of its financial problems. He will hold a Town Hall meeting in the Balboa Park Club tomorrow night. KPBS reporter Alison St John has more.

Mayor Sanders will present his plan of action in response to the $20 million Kroll Report's. The Kroll report contained 25 pages of recommendations, including extra layers of independent financial review. The goal is to restore the city's credibility on Wall Street, which took a hit when the city hid its massive pension deficit from investors.
The mayor's spokesman, Fred Sainz says the mayor wants public involvement in his strategy.

Sainz: "Now that he has arrived at certain conclusion he wants people to become educated on how the city got itself into this position, what the remedial steps that we will have to take in order to get ourselves out of this position are, and what the obvious implications for city government will be."
