Proposition T to Fund $596 million Bond for Tri-City Medical Center

Tom Fudge : Next month, residents of North County will go to the polls for a second time to vote on whether to pass a nearly $600 million hospital bond. Proposition T would raise $596 million in bonding to improve Oceanside’s Tri-City Medical Center. A nearly identical initiative failed to pass in June, though it got very close. The June measure fell short of the needed two-thirds majority by only about 400 votes. Will voters approve the measure this time?

Guests

  • Dr. Richard Burruss , former medical director of the Emergency Department at Tri-City Medical Center.
  • James Crostini, community member of Tri-City and opponent of Proposition T.
